A hexagonal head for use with a wrench. Flange bolts virtually eliminate the need for washers because the area under the bolt head is wider and creates a larger area for even distribution of pressure. Flange bolts that are non-serrated are sometimes called frame bolts. We also supply hex flange nuts that work in tandem with our hex flange bolts. We have different grades of hex flange bolts, hex flange nuts, and hex flange screws to fit a wide range of applications.
▪GRADE 5 HEX FLANGE BOLTS
Hex flange bolts are one-piece head bolts that are flat surfaced. The flange bolts eliminate the need to have a washer since the area under their heads is wide enough to evenly distribute pressure, thus helping to compensate for misaligned holes. Grade 5 hex flange bolts are used in lighter applications.
▪GRADE 8 HEX FLANGE BOLTS
Hex flange bolts are greatly used in areas that are hard to reach since the flage does the work of a washer in distributing pressure. Depend on grade 8 hex flange bolts for use in applications that are demanding.
▪STAINLESS STEEL FLANGE BOLTS
Serrated Stainless Steel Flange are a corrosion free bolts that can withstand a minimum of 100,000 PSI tensile strength. The stationary flange works like a washer to increase the bearing surface when fastening. There are 24 clockwise locking serrations under the head that bite into the surface of your application.
